Senior Chef de Partie
We are working with our Country Restaurant with Rooms in Pickering to find a passionate and fresh food experienced Chef De Partie to join their brigade.
This is a stunning property, just on the edge of Pickering - recently refurbished to high standard. The owners are very fair and have a real focus on staff wellbeing. The Head Chef is very experienced in Fine Dining and working with fresh/seasonal produce. His focus is to have a kitchen which is pleasant to work in and happy diners. Although there has never been a focus on Rosettes and accolades - the menu is easily to a 2 Rosette level.
As Chef De Partie, you will work with a team which is inclusive and encouraging in a very well equipped kitchen. Everything here is created on site from ice creams to breads, pastries etc.
They have a small kitchen garden that they are developing. They have fresh grown produce brought in from locals and there is a focus on seasonality and provenance.
Covers are up to 50 per day Mon to Sat and up to 80 on Sundays.
You will have experience as a Chef De Partie, working in a fresh food establishment and ideally experience of all sections.
Due to location - you will need your own transport.
50 hour week. 5 days across 7. Every Tue off.
Can be splits or straights.
Salary for Chef De Partie is up to £23,000 basic
