Senior Sous Chef
We are working with a wonderful business in Whitby as they recruit for Senior Sous Chef.
This is a traditional Restaurant with rooms. Well loved by locals and visitors to Whitby. Known for it's hearty menu and warm welcome.
This is an opportunity to work with some great owners, who are believers in looking after the welfare of the team. No one member of staff works more than 48 hours.
The kitchen is spacious with natural light, the team are long standing, some have been there 6 years upward. 5 chefs in total in the kitchen.
The Senior Sous has now found a new opportunity so the space for Sous Chef has been created.
The food is Traditional, British menu. Freshly prepared all on site. High volume, up to 200/300 covers per eve when busy at weekends.
Split shifts. 5 days across 7. 42-44 hours per week
In winter months hours will likely drop to 35 some weeks - you are salaried so wages are not affected.
Salary up to £29,000 basic
